Meet The Team
Founder + CEO
Crystal has been producing celebrations since she founded Amazáe Events in 2004. As the lead designer, Crystal oversees all events the team produces and personally only takes on a select amount of full-service clients to allow for an intimate and bespoke planning experience. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Crystal developed an early love and admiration for the beauty, history and uniqueness your surroundings can provide and she continues to use this inspiration in her event experiences she creates today. Moving to California and growing up in the Bay Area, she graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, which provided the foundation for her business acumen and management skills. The company’s mission statement is rooted in her top priority; fulfilling clients’ wishes in the most enjoyable and exciting way possible. “Making clients smile because we’ve turned their vision into a reality is the best part of my job,” expresses Crystal. “I am thrilled when clients are elated about the event we created together.”
Crystal is known for her calm demeanor, impeccable eye for design and her passion for perfection. She creates by attentively listening and understanding clients’ event visions, keeping in mind client values, personality, and style. Crystal strives for authenticity and is seen an an expert within the events industry. When not acting as the founder and CEO of Amazáe, you can find Crystal dancing (both competitively and for fun!) and hanging out with her two beautiful daughters, adorable son and loving husband. She has a passion for travel and wants to visit every continent in the world - 3 down, 4 to go!
Account + Events Manager
Growing up in Willow Glen, steps away from the Amazàe Events studio, Caitlin’s love and passion for all things related to events was realized after having joined a sorority at San Jose State University. After obtaining her Bachelor's Degree, Caitlin went on to work both as an Executive Admin and in Human Resources. Since she joined the Amazáe team in 2015, she has helped create and execute over 200 flawless events.
Caitlin’s detail-oriented personality and keen eye for design makes her an essential part of the Amazàe Team. As the Account + Events Manager, she works closely with all Amazáe Events clients and her exceptional client relations keep each step of the process fresh and fun while bringing your dream events to life.
When she’s not working in the office or detailing behind the scenes at our events, you can find her enjoying some sunshine and a glass of champagne on the patio.
Office + Special Projects Coordinator
Zaire was born in Chicago, Illinois but moved to the Bay Area when she was twelve. She got her degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of California, Riverside. From a young age, Zaire has always wanted to plan events which led her to pursue event planning internships and assistant work all throughout college. She was a day-of assistant for two wedding coordinators in SoCal as well as the Director of Social Enrichment for her sorority where she planned formal and social events for over 200+ people. Zaire brings to Amazáe her love of people, her fun spirit, and her passion for all things events. When she’s not organizing the office space for Amazáe, you can find Zaire riding at Soulcycle, reading, traveling, or hanging with friends.
Event Production Manager
Nashely brings both experience and enthusiasm to the Amazáe Events team. Graduating from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Nashely's strengths include her ability and effort to build a strong and lasting rapport with her clients. To add to her already impressive academic portfolio, she came to us in 2006 as an entrepreneur and real estate appraiser, demonstrating strong professional ethics and leadership skills. She has proven to be well-versed in all aspects of event planning, marketing, project managing, and public relations. She has a great understanding of putting together detailed information into beautiful, unforgettable and flawless events. Nashely says “the best part of my job is meeting people from all walks of life, learning their cultures and constantly developing new ideas. No two wedding/events are the same because of our truly unique and beautiful clients.”
When not managing events with us, she spends her time volunteering, enjoying the great outdoors and hanging out with her family and can often be found in the kitchen cooking & baking up a storm.
Event Production Manager
Maribel is a connector of people with a passion for fashion and organizational management. Prior to graduating with a degree in Business Management (Concentration in Finance), Maribel studied Fashion Design and Merchandising. Maribel always had an enthusiasm for fashion at a young age. This creativity has led her to find resources to execute ideas from concept to completion for both large and small-scale events. Finding her way to the world of events, Maribel’s creativity and ability to handle challenging situations gracefully, brought her together to strategize and organize people’s most memorable life celebrations.
Before joining Amazáe Events, Maribel held the reins in corporate events for an investment group working with high net-worth clients employed at Silicon Valley tech companies such as Facebook, Google, Apple, Twitter, Synopsys, Etc.
Maribel believes that authenticity, drive, along with a sense of humor are the key ingredients to life and the success of every event. When she’s not planning or organizing an event, you’ll find her shopping with her daughter and husband or enjoying the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.
Event Production Manager
Zainab, or “Z”, as everyone knows her, is the consummate planner. She discovered her love for events early on which led her to study in Hospitality at San Jose State University. In college she also joined a sorority which lead her to help plan many events, fundraisers and award ceremonies. After college she continued to enjoy throwing events of all kinds - bridal showers, baby showers, you name it! Working in the industry for over 15 years she is always up for a challenge. Z is extremely organized and executes events flawlessly while making event planning stress-free and fun former clients.
When she is not enjoying a glass of rosè she loves spending time with her friends and family and going to Disneyland with her nephew.
Event Production Associate
Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. For several years, she worked in tax and general accounting, wealth management and finance, but none of these positions fulfilled her. It was Amy’s dream growing up to become a wedding & event coordinator, and after her own wedding, she decided to turn her dream into a reality. Although many would say finance is very different than the wedding industry, Amy has found a way to apply the same highly detail-oriented, organized and time-sensitive working style that is shared in her new position.
On the road to achieving her dreams, she was a wedding assistant for six months prior to joining Amazae Events. Within the Amazae family, she hopes to learn from the best and make each event she is a part of as amazing as it can be. Being a part of someone's magical day is a privilege she does not take lightly and wants each client to walk away feeling taken care of, valued, and loved.
Amy’s passions include animals, cuisine, fashion and style, her friends, and family. In her spare time, she enjoys planning various social events, keeping up to date with the latest in fashion trends and makeup, her favorite TV shows and movies, long walks with her dog Coco, and eating steak tartare with her husband whenever they spot a French restaurant. She believes that perseverance is the key to life and nothing worth having comes easy.
Event Production Associate
Lisa was first introduced to organizing events when she volunteered to be on the Auction Committee at her daughter’s elementary school. She was hooked at "Let’s do something unique and FUN!” and she hasn’t stopped being involved in events since. Her passion has grown from school auctions to executing bridal, social and corporate events. With 10+ years of event and catering experience, Lisa brings creativity, attention to detail, organizational skills and confidence in executing the perfect event for our Amazáe clients.
A good day for Lisa always starts with a strong cup of coffee and a bit of gardening. It would continue with grocery shopping for ingredients to make a new recipe for dinner, a call from her college-aged daughter, followed by working with Amazáe clients on future events. Winding down from a good day would include a refreshing cocktail alongside her husband in the backyard of their home. A GREAT day would be the previously mentioned activities plus traveling to new destinations for work or pleasure!
Social Media Coordinator
