Crystal has been producing celebrations since she founded Amazáe Events in 2004. As the lead designer, Crystal oversees all events the team produces and personally only takes on a select amount of full-service clients to allow for an intimate and bespoke planning experience. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Crystal developed an early love and admiration for the beauty, history and uniqueness your surroundings can provide and she continues to use this inspiration in her event experiences she creates today. Moving to California and growing up in the Bay Area, she graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, which provided the foundation for her business acumen and management skills. The company’s mission statement is rooted in her top priority; fulfilling clients’ wishes in the most enjoyable and exciting way possible. “Making clients smile because we’ve turned their vision into a reality is the best part of my job,” expresses Crystal. “I am thrilled when clients are elated about the event we created together.”
Crystal is known for her calm demeanor, impeccable eye for design and her passion for perfection. She creates by attentively listening and understanding clients’ event visions, keeping in mind client values, personality, and style. Crystal strives for authenticity and is seen an an expert within the events industry. When not acting as the founder and CEO of Amazáe, you can find Crystal dancing (both competitively and for fun!) and hanging out with her two beautiful daughters, adorable son and loving husband. She has a passion for travel and wants to visit every continent in the world – 3 down, 4 to go!

Kaila has been an integral part of the Amazáe team since 2021. She comes to Amazáe with a client focused background and experience in management. Her passion for events started with planning her own wedding. Since then she strives to make your event everything you imagined and more. Outside of work Kaila enjoys traveling with her husband and being surrounded by nature. In her spare time, she is also an ardent animal lover and has successfully assisted in rescuing and placing many homeless fur babies.

Marissa has been part of the Amazae team since 2023. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and brings a strong background in customer service paired with an eye for detail. Her warmth and precision shine through in both our office and event experiences, ensuring every detail feels seamless and thoughtful. Marissa’s ideal day includes AM pilates, catching up on reality tv, planning her next international trip, and ordering in a Thai food feast!

Deana comes to Amazae with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of events. Her true passion is the operations & production. When she isn’t producing events she loves anything animal /dog related, hanging with her friends and Pilates.

Kelsi has been a part of Amazáe since 2023. She leads the strategy and storytelling behind our digital presence and oversees all social platforms and marketing efforts, ensuring it all reflects the elegance and creativity that define Amazáe. She loves experiencing new cultures and food through traveling and cooking with her family and friends!

Joining the Amazáe team in 2023, Sonja brings over 25 years of event and wedding planning experience. Growing up in a hospitality family, with her company she has planned events from intimate elopements in the vineyards, to destination wedding weekends with up to 350 guests, or weekend festivals with over 10,000 in attendance. Garnering awards from Wedding Wire and Best of Napa County, she strives to provide a unique and most memorable experience with each event she produces. Outside of events, she is a consummate foodie and lives the wine country life.

Hannah started in the event industry about (3) years ago after moving from the central valley where she did home staging and design. She moved to the Bay Area to progress in her career and pursue her love for design. Working in the event industry opened so many opportunities to work with amazing vendors and planners like Amazáe. She now has a background in event design, production, and management. She has found a new love for logistics with large scale events! Outside of work she loves to travel and spend time with her kitties, Whiskey and Stone. She also enjoys being creative and finding diy home decor projects.

Chloe joined Amazae Events in 2023 supporting a myriad of events from weddings to fundraising galas. She started her events career during the pandemic and now works full time at the Exploratorium. Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts and music festivals, as well as traveling with her family and friends!
