Did you know you could find out more about Amazáe Events via PartySlate? PartySlate is a website that inspires people planning events and connects them with the leading event professionals and venues across the country and the world. Founder Julie Roth Novack was inspired to create a Houzz-like website to address the $143 billion events industry after attempting to plan a gala and spending hours online looking for ideas and venues, only to find wedding blogs, sterile vendor listing sites, and Pinterest dead-ends.

They have endless categories for finding event inspiration from aisles and arches, to silent auction designs, to signage and branding. Not only does PartySlate provide inspiration for events, but you can find insight to thousands of venues and vendors. For instance, you could get the inside scoop about Amazáe Events directly from PartySlate editors.

Over the last 3 years, we have similarly relied on PartySlate for connections to both clients and creative partners. One of the things that attracted us most to PartySlate initially was their neutral, classic and clean brand. The platform really allows our profile to stand out and let our work be the focus. We also especially love that they are event inclusive, unlike many similar competitors who only highlight one category of events (such as weddings). We love that we have one place to store all our social, corporate and wedding events alike. If you are a venue or vendor, we highly recommend creating a profile to connect with potential clients today.

Our profile has more than 65 event albums with over 2,500 images to give you the ultimate look at what we have done in the past. Here are a few highlights to give you a preview.

This intimate wedding at Rosewood Sand Hill will forever standout in our minds and hearts. It also makes quite the impression on our PartySlate profile.

Another beautiful wedding making a statement on PartySlate is this stunning wedding that took place at Carmel Valley Ranch.

We love the way Joshua Rose Photography captured the evening.

An additional standout includes this creative Neverland themed Anniversary Party at The Glass House.

We are so grateful for our partnership with PartySlate, and the opportunities they have brought to us.

It has been heartbreaking to witness the destruction of the recent fires burning across California. We too felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to best help initially. However, we have found a few ways to help you take action if you too would like to assist those impacted by the recent CA wildfires.

Local artists are working hard to make an impact.

For instance, Lindsay Stripling has designed this charming line of “Love You Santa Cruz” apparel, with proceeds benefiting Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.

Fybr, a store located in downtown Santa Cruz is selling these cute mugs with 100% of proceeds being donated to Santa Cruz fire evacuation shelters and animal shelters. They are also offering free shipping on the mugs with code SCSTRONG.

An artist from Livermore is donating all proceeds from the sales of this “I support my California Firefighters” tee to the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighter Foundation.

Another local artisan, True Blue Indigo is donating 100% of proceeds from her California native line to evacuation efforts and victims. She has some great products like stickers, shirts and prints.

Finally, if you, or someone you know has lost their home, artist Meg Adler of Letters, Aligned has graciously offered to draw the home, for free. Please inquire by emailing [email protected].

How to help with our local events industry family.

We are personally saddened for those we know from within the local event industry who have faced loss from the fires.

Floral designer and owner of Love and Flowers, Angie lost her home in Carmel Valley. Her husband Ramon was out helping fight the fires as a volunteer fire fighter within their community when Angie and her 3 children evacuated, to ultimately hear of their home being destroyed. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist them with rebuilding.

Jan Wilson has been a well known baker within the Santa Cruz community for decades. Her bakery, Buttercup Cakes has grown yet remained a small family run operation in Santa Cruz for the last 10 years. Jan’s entire property was burned down in the CZU lightning complex fire including her home (where her Grandfather grew up) and commercial kitchen. A GoFundMe page has been set up for them during this difficult time.

If you’d like to donate, consider these nonprofits.

The Wildfire Relief Fund created by California Community Foundation works directly with established organizations in affected areas to maximize efforts. Thanks to generous donations they have been able to provide over $24 million to support relief and recovery efforts since opening in 2003.

GlobalGiving has also set up a CA Wildfire Relief Fund and is accepting donations. On their website you can choose to donate to an individual project to directly impact an area that you’d like to assist.

Big Basin State Park is California’s oldest state parks and has redwood trees that are over 500 years old. The historic headquarters, nature center, campgrounds and other structures at within the State Park have all been damaged or destroyed in the fires. The park has sustained extensive damage and will take quite a bit of rebuilding before the 18,000 acre park will be able to reopen. You can donate here to their rebuilding efforts.

This week we are bringing some serious intimate event inspiration with an Italian influenced “cena all’aperto” (outdoor dining party) in the East Bay. From the stunning florals, to the elegant rentals, and the exquisite detailed menu, this event was truly dreamy. Take a look for yourself to see how stunning an intimate dinner in a private home can be.

The evening began with cocktail hour serving fine wines, champagne, and a gorgeous grazing board by Charming Fig.

We provided serving utensils and bamboo individual plates so guests could create their own mini board (not to mention they are also eco-friendly!).

Pleasanton Event Rentals supplied the rentals as well the linens which worked perfectly in the backyard setting. The weather was warm, but comfortable; perfect for an evening of dining al fresco.

The overall inspiration came from the host’s Italian background. We wanted to create the feel of a Tuscan Villa, transporting the guests to the Italian countryside without actually leaving their home. To tie in the backyard, garden setting, broken pieces of terra-cotta pots were used as guest place cards.

The florals for the intimate dinner party were provided by Nicole Ha Design, adding an extra touch of color and providing even more secret garden vibes throughout the space. Additional loose florals were added to the desserts as well.

The catering for dinner was thoughtfully provided by Giannis Italian Bistro. Guests were served three plated courses featuring fresh ingredients creating an amazing Italian menu.

Guests safely indulged in a delicious meal in the comfort of a private home, and even enjoyed a show when a heard of cattle wandered by in the background.

We love seeing families able to continue to celebrate important events together, safely.

Does this post have you ready to commemorate an important milestone coming up? Let us help you plan a safe event for all. If an intimate event is not right for your needs, you may consider a hybrid virtual event to get the party started. Whatever feels right, we can guide you through the process with ease.
