Our Diary

Planning a destination event adds additional layer of creativity and we love taking that to the next level and thinking outside the box to provide another reason for your guests to remember your event. Amelia shares her favorite tips for bringing a bit of delight to your attendees:

My favorite part of an event is finding unique opportunities to make guests feel like an experience was hand-crafted just for them.

  1. 1. Planning a destination meeting or event? Get the party started early and send these cute Carry on Cocktail Kits to your colleagues. Fun fact – you can even personalize them with your company name or logo!

  2. 2. We’ve all tried our share of signature cocktails, but how about starting your speciality beverages a little earlier than 5PM? I love the idea of a cute, mobile coffee cart serving fancy espresso drinks to guests before an early morning meeting! (Not sure if you can cover the cost to bring in another vendor? See if one of your partners is interested in sponsoring the cart and offer branded paper sleeves with both of your logos!)

  1. 3. Reward high achievers with access to a VIP Lounge on Arrival Day – complete with all the stops – snacks, drinks, chair massages, etc. Or plan an after-party or intimate dinner that includes only your top performers and your CEO for some much-valued face time.
  1. 4. Remember the feeling of playing outside on a hot summer day and suddenly hearing the tune of an ice cream truck in the distance? Provide an opportunity to relive that experience.

  • 5. Have fun gifts delivered to their room, not only upon arrival, but at specific times of the day to help them prepare for an upcoming activity. Example: If guests have a yoga or hiking outing scheduled, have a pretty box filled with a wellness goodies delivered beforehand.

When it comes to selecting your wedding gown,  there’s a variety of factors to take into consideration, things like venue, season, indoors vs. outdoors and of course your own wedding day style. But at the end of the day, we’re of the opinion that you should select whatever dress makes you feel like a bride.

Every year, we wonder how we could possibly love gown designs more than we already do, and then Bridal Fashion week comes around and we’ll admit, we continue to be totally thrilled with how the styles are evolving. This year, we’re excited to see styles remain classic and elegant, with special hints of flair. Each style that was sent down the runway seemed to hold sacred the “traditional” wedding gown flavor but with an added twist. We loved seeing the continued illusion neckline, the touches of lace, and refreshed use of sparkle. We also really loved how much structure some of the gowns seem to have.

Needless to say, we’re really looking forward to seeing some of these stunning gowns make their way off the runway and down the aisle on our future brides.

Below are a few of our favorites (it’s really hard to pick, by the way!). Take a peek and snag some inspiration before you make your bridal appointments!

We’re always up for working with our venue friends to assist them in showcasing their properties! It’s not only a great chance to get creative, but it’s a great opportunity to collaborate!

This month, we had such a great time working with some of our favorite friendors to showcase the famous Winchester Mystery House at their showcase.

It’s an excellent place to host a party, and of course it’s incredible history adds a fun layer to your celebration-especially if it’s themed.  It’s unique, full of beautiful historic touches and it has gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces. We really enjoyed designing the party and we were 100% over the moon to team up with Luis Castillo, Nicole Ha, Classic Party Rentals, and AFR Rentals.
