As we head into 2026, we’ve been moved to look back on the past decade of celebrations with Amazáe Events. Established in 2004, we’ve been creating special moments for over 20 years (700+ events!) in the Bay Area and beyond. We’re feeling nostalgic, let’s travel back in time and see how we’ve evolved over the many weddings, social events, corporate events and more we’ve done over the past decade!

By 2016, Amazae was already more than a decade into event planning and design. Our team had produced weddings and events on a grand scale, collaborating with industry-leading professionals and executing highly detailed, multi-day celebrations. Experience was never the question.

What defined this period was focus.

Our mission—enriching people’s lives by providing unparalleled event experiences through innovative concepts, industry-leading event professionals, and impeccable execution—was already deeply ingrained in how we approached every celebration. The weddings and events featured here reflect that same standard of excellence, interpreted through a design language that favored meaning, flow, and emotional resonance.

This Neverland themed anniversary demonstrated Amazae’s approach to immersive storytelling at scale. The environment was designed to transport guests through layered details, sculptural installations, and thoughtfully curated moments, all executed with precision and style. Even then, the focus was not spectacle alone, but creating an experience that felt cohesive, intentional, and memorable from start to finish.

Set at Carmel Valley Ranch, this wedding embodied a romantic, garden-driven California elegance rooted in place and experience. Soft, organic florals in blush, peach, and ivory tones complemented the rolling hills and open skies, while thoughtfully restrained design allowed the landscape to lead. From the gallery wall seating chart, die-cut menu’s and custom lighted tent, this wedding’s details were elements that continue to be classic and timeless in their own ways a decade later.

Alongside weddings, Amazáe was producing large scale corporate events in 2016, partnering with leading organizations to deliver complex, high-impact experiences. From aviation hangars to tented receptions and branded environments, each event reflected the same commitment to precision, flow, and guest experience that defines our work today. This particular event was a milestone for us, as it was a learning experience on valuing customers and how to treat them on a grand scale. It was an exciting time, traveling and experiencing new things thanks to our amazing clients.

As we reflect on 2016, which was more than a decade into our journey, it is incredible to see the variety of events we have had the privilege to bring to life, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, each one unique and unforgettable. These moments continue to inspire us to push creative boundaries and craft experiences that leave lasting impressions.
