Crystal has been producing celebrations since she founded Amazáe Events in 2004. As the lead designer, Crystal oversees all events the team produces and personally only takes on a select amount of full-service clients to allow for an intimate and bespoke planning experience. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Crystal developed an early love and admiration for the beauty, history and uniqueness your surroundings can provide and she continues to use this inspiration in her event experiences she creates today. Moving to California and growing up in the Bay Area, she graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, which provided the foundation for her business acumen and management skills. The company’s mission statement is rooted in her top priority; fulfilling clients’ wishes in the most enjoyable and exciting way possible. “Making clients smile because we’ve turned their vision into a reality is the best part of my job,” expresses Crystal. “I am thrilled when clients are elated about the event we created together.”
Crystal is known for her calm demeanor, impeccable eye for design and her passion for perfection. She creates by attentively listening and understanding clients’ event visions, keeping in mind client values, personality, and style. Crystal strives for authenticity and is seen an an expert within the events industry. When not acting as the founder and CEO of Amazáe, you can find Crystal dancing (both competitively and for fun!) and hanging out with her two beautiful daughters, adorable son and loving husband. She has a passion for travel and wants to visit every continent in the world – 3 down, 4 to go!

Kaila has been an integral part of the Amazáe team since 2021. She comes to Amazáe with a client focused background and experience in management. Her passion for events started with planning her own wedding. Since then she strives to make your event everything you imagined and more. Outside of work Kaila enjoys traveling with her husband and being surrounded by nature. In her spare time, she is also an ardent animal lover and has successfully assisted in rescuing and placing many homeless fur babies.

Zainab, or “Z”, as everyone knows her, is the consummate planner. She discovered her love for events early on which led her to study in Hospitality at San Jose State University. In college she also joined a sorority which lead her to help plan many events, fundraisers and award ceremonies. After college she continued to enjoy throwing events of all kinds – bridal showers, baby showers, you name it! Working in the industry for over 15 years she is always up for a challenge. Z is extremely organized and executes events flawlessly while making event planning stress-free and fun former clients.
When she is not enjoying a glass of rosè she loves spending time with her friends and family and going to Disneyland with her nephew.

Nashely brings both experience and enthusiasm to the Amazáe Events team. Graduating from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Nashely’s strengths include her ability and effort to build a strong and lasting rapport with her clients. To add to her already impressive academic portfolio, she came to us in 2006 as an entrepreneur and real estate appraiser, demonstrating strong professional ethics and leadership skills. She has proven to be well-versed in all aspects of event planning, marketing, project managing, and public relations. She has a great understanding of putting together detailed information into beautiful, unforgettable and flawless events. Nashely says “the best part of my job is meeting people from all walks of life, learning their cultures and constantly developing new ideas. No two wedding/events are the same because of our truly unique and beautiful clients.”
When not managing events with us, she spends her time volunteering, enjoying the great outdoors and hanging out with her family and can often be found in the kitchen cooking & baking up a storm.

Hanna Bermúdez joins the Amazáe team with a well rounded events background. Her prior experiences vary widely from managing food festivals, wedding planning and design, floral design, and venue, catering, and entertainment management. She uses this knowledge to collaborate with clients and vendors to weave together the event of your dreams. This well rounded past helps Hannah see issues from all sides when they arise and figure out the best plan that works for everyone involved.
What she loves most about events is the challenge. She loves getting to know her clients and their visions, then putting in the work to bring it to life, creating magical, memorable moments.
When she isn’t running around with a clipboard, Hannah enjoys working with watercolors, throwing clay, tending to her plants, and exploring San Francisco’s food scene.

Lisa was first introduced to organizing events when she volunteered to be on the Auction Committee at her daughter’s elementary school. She was hooked at “Let’s do something unique and FUN!” and she hasn’t stopped being involved in events since. Her passion has grown from school auctions to executing bridal, social and corporate events. With 10+ years of event and catering experience, Lisa brings creativity, attention to detail, organizational skills and confidence in executing the perfect event for our Amazáe clients.
A good day for Lisa always starts with a strong cup of coffee and a bit of gardening. It would continue with grocery shopping for ingredients to make a new recipe for dinner, a call from her college-aged daughter, followed by working with Amazáe clients on future events. Winding down from a good day would include a refreshing cocktail alongside her husband in the backyard of their home. A GREAT day would be the previously mentioned activities plus traveling to new destinations for work or pleasure!
