Wedding trend talk is seemingly never-ending. We’re ok with that. We love seeing innovation in wedding design. But here’s a few things from our 2017 weddings we want to keep for the 2018 wedding season:

1. 1. COLOR

All white everything is pretty. We don’t disagree. But we LOVE bringing our events to life with some serious color.

3. MATCHING BRIDAL PARTY GETTING READY ATTIRE

The only thing sweeter than having your best ladies by your side when you say ‘I Do’ is matching getting ready robes that scream “Bride Tribe”!

4. MULTI CULTURAL WEDDINGS: BLENDED PERFECTLY! 

Wedding days are about so much more than the joining of a couple in love! Every wedding is different and unique and we’re really into how much our couples are into keeping things well blended and incorporating different elements of their families, lives, religion, tradition and heritage. It’s such a beautiful thing.

5. HAVING A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER OFFICIATE THE CEREMONY

We’ve seen a transition for our non-church ceremonies: instead of hiring a professional officiant, couples are selecting someone near and dear to their hearts to say the official words. As major moment-makers, we’re LOVING the added element of special this brings to the ceremony.

6. EPIC CEREMONY LOCATIONS

We’re so lucky to work in some really beautiful locations, and we’re of the opinion that our brides can just continue choosing epic venues with serious views.

7. CREATIVE GUEST BOOK MOMENTS

It’s not novel to find fresh ways for guests to leave love notes, but this version is a long standing favorite – plus it doubles as a gorgeous display to add to your wedding day details.

8. SWEET SWEETS

Statement wedding cakes are still “en vogue” in our book, but the more understated approach to wedding cakes has really got our attention.

9. ILLUSION LACE WEDDING GOWNS

Whether it’s dramatic or romantic, the illusion lace style wedding gown was on fire last year and can we just say, YES TO MORE. It was so amazing to see lace reinvented this way, and we can’t wait to see more of it in 2018!

10. OVER THE TOP RECEPTIONS 

We love classy, elegant and unassuming reception style. But we’re not going to lie-when we get to design and execute magical, over the top, jaw dropping receptions our hearts flutter a little. This is where we really get to flex our creative muscles and create fairytale moments for our clients.

So, keep them coming!

Our client’s weddings are filled with cute kids, but the flower girls always make us go ‘awwwww’! Here’s a few of our favorite sweethearts… after this you might want to think twice about skipping the cuties in the wedding party!

For us, winter is filled with site tours, design plans and deep conversations about guest experiences. While we love all of these things, we definitely start getting overly-excited when it feels like spring has sprung-when the weather seems like it’s warmer and we find ourselves reaching for our sunglasses more often. That’s when we start day dreaming about all those beautiful events + weddings we’re working on – and how they’ll come to life. And, then suddenly, we find ourselves reminiscing, lost in our photo galleries. Here’s Why:
