Our Diary

We love weddings & social celebrations (who doesn’t!), but we’re also passionate about successful corporate events! Enjoy some of our top reasons every corporate event should have a seasons pro at the helm:

1. Experience: Planning an event, especially for a corporate group isn’t always easy. It takes someone with the right combination of foresight and creative problem solving skills to ensure your event goes off without a hitch. This talent doesn’t simply show up overnight. It takes years of work to be able to not only design the perfect event, but execute an event that provides a great experience for attendees.

2. Budget: Sometimes the word budget can feel a little intimidating, but to a planner, it’s one of the most important elements. We’re excited to help your company maximize your event budget and will assist your team to ensure funds are properly allocated.

3. Vendor Network: The event world thrives on connections, and when we’re hired for an event, we bring the best of our vendors with us. We work hard to keep thriving connections with our “friendors” and they’ll always put their best foot forward for our clients both during the planning process and on the event day itself.

4. Time + Stress. Your team already has so much on their plate. Planning and executing an event is a field unto itself. Expecting your staff to add the workload to their already endless to-do list is equal to setting yourself up for failure. Let your staff keep attending to the work they do best. We’ll take care of the rest.

5. Inspiration: Even if your company has successfully pulled off your event in the past, including the help of a professional event planner breathes a whole new life into repeat events-whatever the theme may be! The energy, creativity and talent that a pro planner brings to the table is something your attendees will see as soon as they arrive, but it will keep them more engaged and more involved throughout the event.

Of course, there are so many more reasons to hire a pro, but not only has our years of training and experience prepared us for your event, we understand how important your corporate event is. Hiring a pro is the first step to a successful event. Your reputation depends on it.

Of course, we love every event and wedding we do. But, every once in awhile, we have the opportunity to plan a wedding that truly feels like the stars have aligned and we have the perfect recipe for a total fairytale wedding.

This happened recently, and we’re still buzzing about it!

“I’ve always wanted to design a classic, elegant and intimate (less than 50 people) wedding dinner reception. Not only did I get to do it at a venue so fabulous as Rosewood, with a Michelin star restaurant,, it was with the most amazing, kind, gracious and trusting clients ever. It was an honor to create this for our client, and even better that we got to bring the A-team of vendors to make it all happen: Nicole Ha Floral and Event Design,  Augie Chang PhotographyIQ Videography, Hensley Event Resources, Blueprint Studios, Theoni, Napa Valley Linen, La Tavola, and Aerialist Press.”

Every event has it’s own special flavor, and we pride ourselves on being able to create that for our clients and their guests.

Something we find makes all the difference, is layers of well-executed details. It could be something as simple as a custom guest book incorporated into a beautifully designed table top arrangement. Or, it could be a unique signature cocktail display, filled with curated found objects. It could even be as statement worthy as a completely custom, monogrammed dance floor, designed to match all the stationary and signage.

Whatever it is, we work to find those special elements and apply them in a cohesive and unique way. Here’s some of our favorites:

Hearts for Days: Replace the traditional guest book with a cute heart collector. Your guests can sign their names and add a special message. When tucked into a beautiful floral arrangement, it becomes an elegant way to add a touch of whimsy to the day.

Gift your culture: The perfect nod to heritage-use guest favors as an opportunity to share something unique. We loved these beautiful sleeved chopsticks, presented with a darling thank you note.

Escort Cards with Flair: Escort card presentation is limitless. It’s the perfect place to include personal style to your wedding-from the ribbon, to the calligraphy, to the card itself, we love any opportunity to make finding your table an extra special experience.

Go the extra mile: Keep your guests comfortable. If you’re having an outdoor celebration, we’ll make sure you’ve got everything you need to keep the party going all night long, but we love making your guests feel just a little more special. Gifting pashmina wraps is perfect, and it’s another way to incorporate your design into the event.

Repurpose Objects: Delighting guests with familiar objects used in new, elegant ways in a wedding makes us happy. Example: This beautiful glass box, the perfect place for gift cards.

Recreate the Regular: Weddings have programs. Most, not all. But the ones that do – we like to get creative. We love the idea of taking something regular, like a fan, and making it a design element-even better if the flip side is the wedding program!

These are just a few of our favorite details from some recent weddings, and by now you get it – for us, it’s all about the little things!
