Industry Insight: How the Events Industry is Shifting

As mentioned in our most recent post, the events industry has been hit hard by COVID-19 and current events. While we are heartbroken for our clients and friendors who have had to postpone or cancel important events, we know this collective act to stay home and social distance is necessary, important, and for the greater good.

With that said, we are doing everything we can to offer our services, considering the current restrictions. Just because we cannot meet in person, does not mean we cannot continue to connect and celebrate life!

Here are a few ways the events industry is shifting to continue to offer services at this time:

1. Postponement plan activated – working with clients and vendors to begin the rescheduling process for all impacted events. Working quickly to clearly communicate options to clients who have been or may be affected to let them know they are on top of mind. We have services for our clients and beyond to help navigate this difficult process.

2. Virtual events and meetings – while we cannot currently meet in person, we can shift to accommodate online events, meetings, and conferences. There are so many opportunities to continue connect with individuals in the digital space, now and beyond COVID-19.

3. Party in a Box – to accompany the previous concept, consider ways engage guests and encourage them to attend by responsibly providing props beforehand. Providing hosts and attendees of a virtual event physical décor, gifts, and/or memorabilia brings the experience to life, beyond the screen. Need assistance? Contact us and we will be happy to help!

Many things have come to a pause, but life has not been canceled! We are so honored to continue to support you through life’s greatest celebrations, now and for years to come. We are always here for you!

A note to the fellow event industry companies who have been impacted – we feel for you. There is no way we could have ever predicted this when planning for 2020, but we encourage you to look beyond.
