10 Tips for a Smooth and Comfortable Wedding Day

“The experience it takes to be a good wedding & event planner means that over time, you end up with quite a list of tricks and advice that seems to help every time. Here’s my top list of quick tips + tricks to consider when planning for a comfortable and smooth wedding day.” -Nashley

  • 1. Try to buy your wedding shoes a size bigger and use a foot insole for at least the first part of the day. When your feet start to swell (I don’t know why, but they will!) take your insoles out and you’ll be able to wear them a bit longer. This will help you enjoy the moments more, and worry less about your feet.

  • 2. Use a light exfoliant on the morning of your wedding, especially if your skin feels a little dry. If you don’t have something on you, use a bit of sugar and a drop of oil or water). A quick light facial will help enhance that glow.
  •
  • 3. Don’t forget to take a few selfies, at least before you head out for the day. Everyone wishes they had at least a few.
  •
  • 4. Don’t overdue the perfume-especially if you’re traveling in a limousine.
  •
  • 5. Pack a pair of flats so you can dance the night away.
